Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

(1 Peter 4:10)

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet…“A new command I give you: Love one another. as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:14, 34-35)

Using our time, talents, treasures, toil, and testimonies to serve one another and others is central to our communal life and mission to the world. We know that Jesus, though the Son of God, came not to be served, but to serve us, even to the point of laying down His very life for us! By His presence at work in us, we seek to reflect this same self-sacrificial love and service to one another.
